Does your Pubwatch make full use of the resources available from National Pubwatch?
We know how difficult it can be to source good practice advice or fund local initiatives; so everything we do is aimed at supporting your work. And as NPW is a voluntary organisation we think its important that we do not charge you for receiving that support. For example, did you know that you can download and print a range of posters directly from our website or that we can supply small quantities of hard copy posters – all free of charge?
It might surprise you that since we decided to support the promotion of the Ask for Angela initiative, that the poster has been downloaded over 4,500 times! That does not include the many hundreds of posters which we have posted to local schemes.
Our short information films are also proving extremely popular. In recent months we have released films on subjects such as drugs and pubs, crime scene preservation and conflict management. And we will continue to try and provide these types of materials as long as local schemes tell us that they are of use to them. Let us know if there are any subjects for future films which you think might be helpful to you.
So please take a few moments to look at all the links on the NPW website to make sure you are getting the full benefit of your association with us.
We would also really like you to help other schemes to promote good practice. You can do that by joining and contributing to our Facebook and Twitter pages; and also letting us know about any local initiatives you are running. Links to local press releases etc. can be sent to our editor at email@example.com
