The National Pubwatch Committee announce the launch of a new award for ‘Bravery and Meritorious Conduct’. The award is open to anyone who acts selflessly to save life or reduce harm to persons working or socialising in the night-time economy.
We know that the actions of certain individuals are already recognised, either through the official ‘honours’ system or by various bodies, such as the Police awarding Commendations. However, we also know that there are many instances where people do not receive recognition.
The new award will allow Pubwatch members or other stakeholders to nominate people direct to the National Pubwatch Committee. The on-line nomination form can be seen here.

The annual award is for Pubwatch schemes. The application process for this year’s award is currently open until 30 August. Finalists are invited to attend a prestigious award dinner in House of Lords on 16 October 2019. The on-line application form can be seen here.
Award of Merit
The Award of Merit is available for Pubwatch members or other stakeholders who have shown outstanding commitment to promoting and supporting their local Pubwatch scheme(s). The on-line nomination form can be seen here.
The Malcolm Eidmans Award is available to members of police staff who have shown outstanding commitment to promoting and supporting their local Pubwatch scheme(s). The on-line nomination form can be seen here.
The Star Award is usually presented at the discretion of our Regional Representatives at local ceremonies. The award is open to anyone who has shown commitment in supporting the activities of their local Pubwatch scheme.
