The organisation for standards and qualifications
for the licensed trade and has useful information on social
responsibility issues relevant to pubwatches (qualifications and
training relating to drugs, door supervision, late night
licences etc.).
PASS Scheme website
PASS
is the security logo for proof of age schemes and without
it the card in
question may not be the real thing.
Data
Protection Public Register
contains information on registering for data protection
purposes for the retention and use of photographs, and
CCTV systems. A set of protocols over photograph retention
and use approved by the Information Commissioner are
available in our Good Practice Guide.
NACTSo
This is a counter terrorism site that has specific information on actions that pubs clubs and other venues should consider in the light of the terrorist threat perceived to their premises, including a ‘Raise the Bar’ initiative to raise awareness of activity that can deter potential terrorists for choosing them as a target. The information for pubs and clubs is contained in the section shown as ‘crowded places’.

Morning Advertiser
The site of the trade paper that helped
found national pubwatch and has current and pertinent articles
and information about trade matters many of which relate
to pubwatch activity. This site will have details of the Safer Socialising awards that pubwatches can enter each year.

Trade paper website with news and information about the trade and pubwatch.
