29/1/20: Birmingham Airport officially launches its first Pubwatch Scheme. It builds on the work of its existing Disruptive Passenger Forum and initiatives such as the ‘One Too Many’ campaign which is supported by The Airport Operators, International Air Transport Association, the UK Travel Retail Forum and Airlines UK
Stephen Baker Chairman of National Pubwatch commented: “I am delighted to be working with Birmingham Airport. Customers and airport workers will undoubtedly benefit from our combined efforts to promote good practice and improve communication and the sharing of information on disruptive passengers.”
An Airport Spokesperson said: “Birmingham Airport wishes to ensure that all our passengers have an enjoyable experience when travelling through the Airport. With the support of our partner, National Pubwatch, our caterers and retailers can safely minimise any incidents of disruptive passenger behaviour and ensure that all of our 12.7 million passengers have an enjoyable experience.”
The launch of this new scheme, follows the success of launching Pubwatch in Heathrow Airports four operational airside terminals.
