Have you been affected by violence in your pub?

Pubs are at the heart of our communities and have always served as social hubs and great places to meet. But, according to figures released by the Publican’s Morning Advertiser, there is a national trend of increasing violent crime in pubs.

Licensed Trade Charity supports people from the licensed drinks trade who have been affected by violence. Violence often has a devastating effect on the victims and we aim to make a positive difference in their lives. We have helped many people within the industry and have provided a wide range of support to date, including providing a grant for white goods and home furnishings to someone who was subjected to domestic violence, resulting in her having to flee her home and move into a new property, and supporting a victim of robbery, to whom we awarded a hardship grant and are calling on a regular basis for a friendly chat.

If you feel you could benefit from our support, call our Support & Care helpline confidentially on 0808 801 0550. The number is free from landlines and most mobile networks and lines are open 8am-8pm, 7 days a week.
