National Pubwatch are delighted to announce that the new sponsors of our ‘Bravery & Meritorious Conduct Award’ are ‘The Licensing Guys’.
The award aims to recognise those individuals whose actions have either saved lives or minimised physical harm in the Night-Time economy.
It is open to people who work in the pub and hospitality trade, as well as members of the public or those serving in the emergency services.
Paul Neades from The Licensing Guys said: “This is a great moment for us. The Licensing Guys have contributed to and supported the excellent work of National Pubwatch for many years, and we are proud to play a small part in recongnising those whose bravery and meritorious conduct goes above and beyond the high standards clearly evident in the Night-Time economy.”
The award was first presented to two outstanding individuals at this years NPW Conference in Cardiff.
NPW Chairman Steve Baker said: “We are extremely grateful to The Licensing Guys for their support for this important award. We would like to encourage the public to nominate individuals whose actions have saved lives or minimised harm so that they can receive the recognition that they deserve. The nomination form can be found on the NPW website here.
