In previous months we have brought you news about the work of several of our volunteer regional Representatives who provide an important link between NPW and local schemes. This month we would like to tell you about Matt Ronan who is our Regional Representative for Scotland.
Matt joined the Scottish Business Resilience Centre in May 2009 in the role of Safe Areas Co-ordinator after retiring from Fife Constabulary. He was latterly appointed to Business Resilience Manager with responsibility for a number of work streams including safe areas, industrial estates, passenger transport, metal theft, various business accreditations etc.
The Scottish Business Resilience Centre plays an important role in promoting the national Best Bar None scheme. As such we believe that Matt is well placed to support the work of local Pubwatch schemes. His most recent efforts have been focused on identifying the strength of Pubwatch activity in the Country and we are pleased to note several recent additions to the NPW (Pubwatch locator) map.
